Arthritis Together Taranaki

Arthritis Together Taranaki (ATT) is a networking group for working-age women living in Taranaki, who are directly or indirectly impacted by Inflammatory Arthritis (IA). The founders of the group, JB and RW had noticed that it was difficult to connect with younger people living with IA in existing support networks for people with arthritis. ATT began as a Facebook group to provide an opportunity for people to connect and meet-up in real life.

The members of the group negotiate the barriers to healthcare and support for IA everyday and have developed a resource to help newly-diagnosed people to negotiate the path to good care and wellbeing and have produced this resource so others in Taranaki with an IA can draw on their experience of living with an IA. We hope the practical information and insights bought to you by women in Taranaki who are already on their IA journey help you to make connections and ease the path forward for you.
I didn't like to talk about it, but now I do, and always you find someone with it, so you make connections, or if people don't know about RA, then you can help them understand. A.B.
